SGS is hiring a full-time professional Driver in Pretoria. The role focuses on providing reliable and courteous transportation while ensuring safety. Drivers must stop using unsafe equipment, avoid hazardous areas without proper training/gear, and address any issues that could affect service quality. They should report deviations, suggest improvements, and never allow unauthorized individuals to operate the vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of duties involving the safe and timely transportation of passengers and/or equipment to designated locations
• Complete deliveries as needed, ensuring packages or items are handled with care and delivered efficiently
• Comply with all safety protocols and quality standards outlined in the SGS management system
• Take on any other reasonable tasks or responsibilities assigned by your direct supervisor, as needed to support daily operations
• Inspect the vehicle and/or trailer before use to confirm there is no visible damage and that it complies with all legal and operational requirements

Qualifications

• Obtain Grade 12 certification (advantageous)
• Hold a valid Driver’s License
• Accumulate at least 3 years of driving experience
